I personally don't have a favorite photo but if I could talk about one it would be this one that I really like.
this photo is called "Winter Sky Over the Mountains", the place of the photo is the Lower Tatra Mountains, located in Slovakia.
the photo was taken by Tomas Slovinsky, he won an award for the photography of the year 2022.
personally when i saw it i was shocked by how beautiful the picture was, and i love pictures in snow.
It calms me down to see photos of snow or mountains with snow, I love snow. Whenever I go to the snow I am always impressed by the particular color of the snow.
we see in the photo part of the universe, many bright stars, the arms that you see are full of hydrogen-alpha nebulae (objects that are invisible to the naked eye, but totally visible with an astromodified camera).
Tomas Sovinky waited until 3 am to get the best shot, the place was at minus fourteen degrees Celsius.
i saw this picture in the national geographic program.
